Turkey Down, Tinsel Up

Yeah, that title doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, so I'll elaborate.

We had a typical family Thanksgiving, although with no close family nearby who wish to celebrate with us, it was a big empty table with a lot of food for just the four of us.  As always, we've been eating leftovers for the last few nights, although there was a bit more of an even Saturday night when Amber invited several of her friends over for a leftover potluck.  Admittedly, we didn't make much of an additional hole in any of OUR leftovers (except for the apple kid-wine), but at least the kids had fun.

Tonight, I think that we finally got the refrigerator emptied enough that I have room to brew a batch of tea.  I believe that is possible to start making different dinners tomorrow without overloading the Tupperware.

Meanwhile, we've started setting up the Christmas decorations.  The tree is up, although not decorated (still trying to find the burned out light bulbs).  Garland and bows all over the foyer.  Me being my usual lazy self, I didn't put up the outside lights yet.  No rush, since we've still got four weeks before the big day.
